# FAQ

> Quick answers to the questions most teams ask when evaluating Cloudeval AI.

## What is Cloudeval AI?

Cloudeval AI is a SaaS product for evaluating cloud environments and infrastructure code across cost, architecture quality, and Well-Architected insights.

## What is the fastest way to get value?

Create one project, attach either an Azure connection or an ARM/Bicep template, and run both cost and architecture reports. That gives you the fastest complete picture of how the product works.

## Do I need live cloud access to use it?

No. You can start with an IaC workflow by importing an ARM template or Bicep-generated JSON.

## Which cloud providers are supported today?

Cloudeval is Azure-first for live cloud sync and ARM/Bicep review. AWS CloudFormation beta supports static JSON/YAML IaC topology and evaluation. Live AWS connections and GCP workflows are not available today.

## What does a project contain?

A project is the main working unit in Cloudeval. It can contain synced infrastructure data, files, report history, status metadata, and sharing settings.

## What report types are available?

The primary report types are cost and architecture. Architecture reporting includes Well-Architected style scoring and issue counts.

## Can I share results with people outside my team?

Yes. Public share links and read-only embeds are available. Named roles, comments, presence, and real-time co-editing remain preview capabilities and are not included in current self-serve plans.

## What does a share link expose?

A share link can expose a read-only project view, files, and the latest saved report snapshots. Review project content before publishing one.

## Does Cloudeval replace FinOps or security tooling?

No. It is best used as an evaluation and decision-support layer that helps teams inspect infrastructure, understand findings, and decide what to fix next.

## Where do credits apply?

Credits apply to compute-heavy product actions such as sync, report generation, pricing computation, and AI-assisted review flows.

## Which paid plans are available now?

The current self-serve public catalog is **Pro Day Pass** at `$7.99` for 24 hours and 1,500 credits; **Basic** at `$19/month` or `$180/year` with 2,500 credits per month; and **Pro** at `$49/month` or `$468/year` with 12,000 credits per month. Team and Business plans are not currently available for self-serve purchase. Enterprise is contact sales.
