What is CloudEval AI?

CloudEval AI is a SaaS product for evaluating cloud environments and infrastructure code across cost, architecture quality, and Well-Architected insights.

What is the fastest way to get value?

Create one project, attach either an Azure connection or an ARM/Bicep template, and run both cost and architecture reports. That gives you the fastest complete picture of how the product works.

Do I need live cloud access to use it?

No. You can start with an IaC workflow by importing an ARM template or Bicep-generated JSON.

Which cloud providers are supported today?

Azure is the main supported path today. AWS and GCP should not be treated as equivalent production-ready workflows yet.

What does a project contain?

A project is the main working unit in CloudEval. It can contain synced infrastructure data, files, report history, status metadata, and sharing settings.

What report types are available?

The primary report types are cost and architecture. Architecture reporting includes Well-Architected style scoring and issue counts.

Can I share results with people outside my team?

Yes. Projects support share links as well as named collaboration through owner, editor, and viewer roles. A share link can expose a read-only project view, files, and the latest saved report snapshots. Review project content before publishing one.

Does CloudEval replace FinOps or security tooling?

No. It is best used as an evaluation and decision-support layer that helps teams inspect infrastructure, understand findings, and decide what to fix next.

Where do credits apply?

Credits apply to compute-heavy product actions such as sync, report generation, pricing computation, and AI-assisted review flows.
