CloudEval share links are designed for read-only access.
Supported share views
Share links support three view modes:
These same view choices also shape the generated share and embed links.
What a share link can show
Today, a shared link can show:
- project name and sharing details
- read-only project files
- latest architecture report snapshot
- latest cost report snapshot
Signed-in users can also fork from a shared project when that action is available in the viewer.
What it does not do
- Share links do not create an editing workflow.
- The shared view is read-only.
- Use invited collaboration when people need ongoing access or editing rights.
Size and safety constraints
- Files larger than
2 MB are not shown through share links.
- Review project files before sharing anything publicly.
- Make sure descriptions and metadata are safe for the intended audience.
When to use share links
Use it for:
- read-only stakeholder review
- demos of non-sensitive projects
- embed scenarios where editing is not required
Next step
If you are deciding whether a project should be shared by link at all, read Sharing and collaboration first. Last modified on May 5, 2026
